updating y'all just did it today successfully...
I've done this but only when it was an absolutely crucial call to take. Not ideal when you know they can hear the echo/fan of the bathroom.

2 years ago I was in our office bathroom when our GVP walked in and ran a call while having explosive diarrhea. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever heard and felt so sorry for whoever he was on the phone with.ย ย
What the actual fuck? I bet the person on the other line only stayed on the line because they were totally shocked.
I worked at an office where people would take personal calls while they were sitting on the toilet. People would be coming in and out, pooping and peeing, farting, flushing the toilet and these sickos would be talking away about their dinner plans to some poor unfortunate soul. It was disgusting.

I have no idea why the person did not hang up, I got a physical reaction from how uncomfortable I was overhearing this all happen.ย

If it's a conference type call where you can mute yourself and need to have a quick pee...sure. Just make sure you mute yourself until you're out of the bathroom.
Talking on the phone in the bathroom? Come on...that's gross. Go to the bathroom before/after your calls. If you have a sudden bladder emergency mid-call I think it's way more polite to say "hey my apologies, something just came up, can I give you a shout back in two minutes" rather than risk having a prospect hear bathroom noises or toilets flushing.

One of my best friends does this regularly. He is a monster. This should be a "break glass in case of emergency" situation only.

Iโve had a few nightmare scenarios of getting a call while on the toilet. Even though I am a mute button master, they had to of known. Sound was probably echoed or something but i felt like a shell of a human after.ย

Hey, it's a mobile phone, it can come to the bathroom with me. I don't flush until the call is finished so that the other party doesn't know where I am taking the call from.
