Try cooking... Not going to lie we started doing the "hello fresh" thing for a few weeks. Never thought I could "cook" or how easy it was.

What's hello fresh? I have tried cooking. The problem with that is it take a lot to start cooking but once I get into it, then its fun. Otherwise too lazy to even begin lol

Depending on the gym (of course) I've heard of places offering discounts...or at the very least be willing to negotiate their rates. I'm lucky in that I can just go train and spar at one place and it's just me. I'm sure, when my kid gets older, that he'll probably want to check it out so I'll have to recalibrate then.

Very true, here in Medellin there are 4 gyms, one run by the  Gracie camp and it cost $300/month/ person/ children get to pay $225 and there's a 20% discount when you pay the whole year or 6 months.

Another one is run by this australian guy that practiced for like 20 years and it cost practically the same. And I have a homie that runs one at a rate of 150 per person with child classes opening up at the end of the year

I'mma have to go with that for the time being, just trying to save up 3 months worth to pay at once and be committed for that time.

I think many will agree there are those Tier 1 hobbies (ones you're always thinking about) and then the Tier 2 hobbies (ones that ebb and flow across the years).

My big T1 hobbies are going fast, learning new things, and cooking. So I spend a lot of time turning wrenches and carefully maintaining my smoker / grill / kitchen knives while watching Youtube videos about the same. Or reading books about them.

T2 hobbies include videogames, WH40K, camping, and weightlifting.

I am not including drinking as a hobby as that seems like a clear road to being an alcoholic lol.
