Talking shit on teams/slack

Anyone ever have an issue with their company looking into their Teams/slack DMs? My fellow savages and I are not them most HR friendly in there (put lightly), but it’s too much work to take my phone out to text them about how fucking stupid this sales meeting/ our boss is.

At my company we (including management) swear/make non PC jokes/talk about a lot of off topic stuff, but refrain from talking shit about the company or people who work here...I doubt anyone would ever want/need to dig into our communications but why chance it?

That's crazy. I always have a personal phone and we chat either by text or whatsapp

If I work for people who feel the need to snoop on my personal chats with colleagues, I’d rather not work for those people.

Who freaking has time to do this?!
With that said, isn't there a law regarding listening/recording/looking at private convos?

Hubstaff is one of those tools that will check all the apps and everything there. Make sure you use your personal phone for this.

Me and my work crew keep our shit talking to Instagram dm’s via our personal phones. Makes it easier to send spicy memes by just staying on insta

I work for an eDiscovery company that manages Slack data and investigations in Slack as well as other collaboration platforms. I can say from the level of insight and governance our customers enforce (silently btw)... it's DEFINITELY wise to keep that kind of chat out of Slack. I know its annoying but can save you an unpleasant trip down to HR

I'll talk mild shit on slack. If I want to really want to go in on someone or say some fucked up shit I'm texting though. My company doesn't monitor us, but they have the ability to. And I don't want to take the chance some new HR guy on a power trip decided he needs to start reading everyones messages and end up getting fired over it.
