Targeting Competitors Clients Hacks

Hey I just started at a new company and am wondering if there are any hacks on how to find my competitors clients and then target them?

Thanks,

Depending on what you're selling you can:
1) Check competitions case studies
2) search in zoominfo or equivalent
3) use builtwith browser plug-in
4) search sales navigator for your competition

Bonus: They probably have a logos page somewhere on their site.

You can filter by technologies used. Take with a grain of salt but better than nothing.

Establish a wifi repeater/interrupter and just monitor their internet traffic. You'll have to sit in their parking lot all day, though. Other than that, easy peasy!

Check the twitter pages of your largest competitors. I've found that when people want to bitch about a company even as a B2B client they'll tag that company's twitter page. Bonus points because you can see what their clients don't like about them and sell to those pains.

Couple of ways I do - reviews on G2 and related sites, use builtwith to find who uses the competition, data mining of these people on Apollo, ZI and do the outreach.

yeah, largely depends on what you sell.  I've work in the media/advertising space for many years so I've built a lot of processes to track what clients are advertising where and how much.

If you sell software, there are some technographic vendors out there - the most cost effective I've seen for like a single seller is  https://builtwith.com/

Outside of that, old fashion legwork.  Call into lower level folks in the companies you are selling too (influencers, champions) and ask them what vendor they are currently using.

Check their website. See who other reps are connected to on LinkedIn.
