Team-building activities of your choise?

Summer time has come and people are more open to meeting and doing stuff together..

Especially pandemic-hires have not been blessed with tone of opportunities of meeting colleagues.

I am just now planning for the team-building activities for the mix of my old and new team members (team of 10+ very competitive and active millennials)

What would be your preferred activities?

I usually take my team out eating once in a while, everything is paid by the company. And after we are going for some beers. That's our "team-building" :D

I'm not athletic and would hate to have to play sports with my team. Plus, I'm one of the only women in my department lol.

A meal out, brewery or vineyard tour, escape room, "for fun" sports like mini golf, regular golf, bowling etc, go karts, beach/pool day, out of town trip, nature retreat would all be fun.

We had a lot of people coming from around the country to our sales meetings. So we would create an amazing race for the teams so they could work together, see great landmarks around the city, and get out of the conference  room for the day.

I would shamelessly steal from summit series. Maybe skip the part where you rent a BBJ and fly around a mountain and end up buying it... but the rest of the activities they did were fantastic.

Wine tasting, or some sort of cooking class. Are you still required to be no contact or can you finally have actual team outings with your team? If so top golf is always a fan favorite.

I hate playing sports with colleagues 😂

Good team building events are things like escape rooms or paintball or go-karting etc. IMO.

I made more on fucking Doge than anything else. Wild. I had some leftover cash in Robinhood after I moved my money to a big boy account (TD) in January, so I bought doge with a couple hundred bucks. Sold when Elon went on SNL.
