Team members leaving

Got some members of the team taking on new roles. Not like they’re my best friends or anything but fun/nice people to work with. No idea why but it bums me out knowing we won’t see them around anymore, but that’s the corporate world for ya 🤷🏽‍♂️. Anyone else relate?

I always get a little bummed, but I stay in touch with those I am close with when they leave. Some of my closest friends are former co-workers. It kind of feels like graduation in a way... people go off on their own paths

I have been done and out a few times because they were homies from outside of work first, but most of the time I know I won't ever speak to them again save for a few random texts here and there.

I totally get bummed. I know one of my work friends is going to be leaving soon and I'm already feeling sad about it. Even though we are not in the office its always great to have someone to slack with and celebrate their successes.

I do still keep in touch with a handful of people I used to work with so I am confident we will cross paths again. The perk of friends leaving is now you have an in at another company and they get a referral bonus.

I good friend who was a sales rep just left my company. It bummed me out cause we used to talk about sales and internal company drama together. I basically told her that one day I would love to worm together again if out paths converge. 😢
