Teammate addicted to Bang Energy?

Hey all, hopefully I hit the mark on this post, or at the very least getting warmer.

I see one of my brightest SDR's going down the wrong path. I fear he has become dependent on Bang Energy; just this morning I heard him crack one open at 8:00 AM, and he is now immersed in a sea of cans. I believe I am counting 5-6 cans which would most likely be lethal to a medium sized dog.

I was thinking about suggesting Redbull Zero as an alternative... Thoughts?

This is exactly the type of post I know Paddy will enjoy.

Redbull Zero is ok, I would just see if you can get him a french press and a butt funnel and/or IV.

In all seriousness, I had a coworker who was also heavily addicted to caffeine and he switched to tea and it worked wonders. Part of it was the caffeine dependence, part of it was just needing a "drink" in general.

Good news is anyone in sales is basically immune to caffeine by default.

Hence, once the immunity takes place, you quit being a child and graduate to cocaine and crystal meth.

That's when you start seeing real growth as a sales person.

All jokes aside, there are plenty of healthy alternatives to getting energy throughout the day. As much as I love energy drinks, I've seen benefits from taking B12 pills, drinking cold water on a schedule, and just getting up and going outside for fresh air.

Honestly getting sleep, exercising in the morning, drinking plenty of water, and not having a huge ass lunch really help minimize the need for caffeine, something I learned later on. I was totally the SDR in this example when I first started years ago.

Drinking water is such a major key that people don't realize they don't get enough of.

Double whammy, it fills you up to limit that big lunch.

Intermittent fasting is a game changer too. Only eat within an 8 hour period of the day. Your body will feel immediately better within a week.

I've shifted to this mindset recently. Trying to cut out the coffee due to migraines and the afternoon crash.

When in college I was working out before my 8am classes, and was incredibly productive. Been trying to work out before I get into work, but I get in at 7am so that realistically means I'm waking up at 5am. Just need to adjust my schedule a bit.

Drinking lots of water throughout the day (not all at once, but consistently drinking some water) can have one of the biggest impacts on energy. I mostly cut out soda, beer, and anything else during the week.

Any Hydro Homies here?

I would encourage natural sources of caffeine, such as coffee and tea. The amount of random enzyme and vitamin dosing that this rep is ingesting is not going to work out in the long run. Adrenal fatigue, liver issues, kidney issues, stomach ulcers...the list goes on.

Get the kid on a cold brew kick, that'll set them right.

If you're actually looking for advice, I've given the best stuff I have. I had a stomach ulcer from drinking too much Monster in college (roommate was a monster-sponsored athlete). It's not a fun thing to deal with.

I got one from RedBull, can confirm everything you said. I had a blood test and my liver enzymes were all out of whack.

As a BDR who lives off bang, what do you expect? Lol I gotta make like 60 dials and deal with my manager micromanaging me all day. Could be much worse, I could be on drugs. But I agree, more than one bang isn't good for you. Caffeine intake for the average 180lb male is something like 500mgs(dont quote me on that). One bang is 300, an average cup of coffee is between 60-100 depending on the roast. Idk man, tell him to stick to one can and maybe a cup of coffee max. Anything more is just diminishing returns anyway.

I feel like I'm the only one on my team not dependent on some form of enhancer.

Addy, coffee, and redbull are consumed on regular intervals on the BDR/AE teams.

Sidebar I’m addicted to an IG model who sponsors Bang. Nothing beats a coffee and an adderall for the record.

Got reps in our office living on Bang as well. None of them are exactly good for you. Gotta push black coffee and protein shakes.

Try water and a well balanced diet and excercise. It’s crazy how much energy that will give you. Whenever in dragging ass I add more greens to my meals. Also bang is a pre-workout so it inly works for like an hour.

Yeah, that is scary...intervention maybe?
I remember working with a guy in sales that used to down those big 500ml mothers, at least 2 a day but what your colleague is doing is dangerous.

Pathway drug to harder stuff or perhaps he is already there and uses bang as something to get him through the day until they get home on the harder stuff.

Sell Redbull zero as a better alternative

No, Red bull is way worse or just as bad bang! Those energy drinks are very addictive. I played college football and know the struggles for I have struggled with them and so have my teammates. When someone is addicted to a drink like bang or red bull its specifically because their body has become so dependent on the energy source that those drinks bring to them.
However, It is not natural source of energy so the symptoms and crashes and be much worse than say natural sources would. I currently quit coffee this past year and have been on the new supplement that replaces coffee and all of those terrible energy drinks.
Its called Mud Water. I drink it every morning first thing when I wake up. I've lost 15 pounds since, my strength has increased in everything, and my energy levels and focus are ridiculous, I never crash or get overly tired. Its made up of all natural substances, filled with vitamins, minerals, antibodies, and much more natural healthier foods that make it a way better and healthier for your body to consume and use. I feel like this may be what your friend needs, give it some research and let him know!

hahaha I have no idea how his heart hasn't jumped out of his body. He is also one of those kinds of kids "that has managed a GNC". So it's tough to get through to him on anything health-related because "he knows best".
