Tech Stack FIGHT!

I'm about to be unleashed with a budget to bring in some sales tech. Let's hear your ideal stack.

For starters, we just have Hubspot. That's it. I'm familiar with Gong, Zoominfo, Seamless AI, Regie AI, Outreach, etc...

How the heck am I going to pick the right stack?

Here's my take:

1) HubSpot (use this for contracts as well)
2) SalesLoft
3) Seamless
4) AVOMA (I prefer it to Gong or Chorus...and Chorus is owned by ZI now)
5) Notion

That stack is all you need to get a solid handle on your top to bottom-of-funnel operations.

Notion is our knowledge base platform, so it has nothing to do with our sales motion beyond housing playbooks and other relevant info/data.

My last org had the phatest of tech stacks, probably why they made no money...

Must have ✔️
Expensive 💲

Salesforce - CRM ✔️ 💲 (Hubspot's probably just as good)
ZoomInfo - Ops Leads 💲
LeadIQ - Rep Leads ✔️ (Cheaper than ZoomInfo, 90% as effective)
Chili Piper - Scheduling ✔️ (one of my fav tools)
Outreach - Sales Engagement ✔️ 💲 (We churned from Salesloft)
Vidyard - Premium (Nice to have)
Orum - Power Dialer 💲 (Cold calls suck)
Gong - Call Coaching ✔️ 💲 (We churned from Chorus, I preferred Chorus and it's cheaper)
Proposify - Esign (Just get esign to start)

Do you know why your org moved away from Salesloft? We're using it over at my company right now and there's been some appetite to look into Outreach

It was a bit of a nightmare getting it setup in the first place then getting it working with sales force and some of the other tools I mentioned was a pain. Ops made the final call. I didn’t mind using it, still preferred Outreach as a user.

Outreach/Salesloft should be first purchase imo -- from there I personally would get a LI SalesNav subscription and either Zoom/Seamless

Gong is a nice to have but only if you have everything else you need and money left over

Of course it's all pretty dependent on product/vertical/etc. that your team is selling into

Too many unknowns here. Are you using HubSpot for CRM, marketing or both? How many users? What are the immediate needs? If you’re doing inbound, HubSpot is already the tool and your investments are better spent with content creation. If outbound, then LISN will help you build a list, Seamless or Zoom will give you contact info for that list & Outreach or Salesloft will help with organizing and automating your outreach efforts. Keep in mind, Seamless and Outreach have easy integrations with HubSpot so you can literally pull data from LISN into Seamless for enrichment, then into Outreach for prospecting and finally into HubSpot. Read this, it should help. https://www.saleshacker.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/SalesStack2021.pdf?vgo_ee=xP80wIORIdvjnPmoW41R8Xs3PQGmvHXjyw%2Fse0%2FzfL0%3D

Really depends whether you're inbound or outbound focussed. You must have one CRM already, this should be couple with some stack where you can pull prospects data from e.g. zoom info, Apollo.io, you must have a dialler with call recording, video recording app (if you're fond of sending videos, calendar and meeting app, Atlassians etc.

It's all about how you use the stacks right.

P.S. there are many free greats stacks available (with limitations) but that can be good start.

1. Burn Hubspot and forget you ever had it.

2. My ideal tech stack is: SFDC, Zoominfo, Outreach, and LinkedIn Nav. Nothing more you need. They all integrate well and are fairly easy to adopt

I work for a company who also uses hubspot. Chilipiper is great for booking meeting and sharing your schedule. Vidyard is perfect for creating engaging content to share with your clients and easily able to customize it for clients. We use Proposify for sending our proposals to clients, it’s better then sending PDFs or word documents. We use Slintel to gather information on leads and source them in our CRM. Outreach for day to day activities.
