The Death of LinkedIn

With LinkedIn becoming pretty terrible, outside of prospecting, what have you guys turned to in order to keep networking? Are there specific groups for content/knowledge transfer and others just for making common connections? Let's hear what you think are the best networking groups, outside of Bravado of course, and why.

LinkedIn is definitely becoming more insufferable, but there's no way it's dead.  It's still one of the best ways to prospect, connect and navigate accounts.

Haha fair, the "death" part was definitely an exaggeration. It may still be the best-centralized repository of professionals out there, it just sucks and I was hoping that I wouldn't have to be as reliant on it for networking/continuous education.

Yeah, it is definitely becoming more text heavy instagram for business people, but it's still pretty hard to beat for networking, prospecting and job searching.  There are some fun slack groups like RevGenius but it is intriguing how Bravado is anonymous so speaking "freely" is "easier".  Makes me think of teamblind.com where it's all anonymous except for what company you work at.

I was just gonna mention RevGenius, that’s a good place to be too.

I am honestly just tired of the random political posts that get "liked" by someone random in my network that pop up in my feed. Linkedin isn't Facebook. They need to stay separate if they want to continue.

I think Linkedin is being moved away from as a welcome place to prospect (which I don't mind), and more to just connecting and sharing knowledge

I hope you're right about LinkedIn! It has a good purpose but just feel like they are losing that. Would definitely prefer the knowledge transfer and staying connected to what it is today. I think that what they are going through now happens any time you're able to build such an immense network and get a group of people spending their time/attention in one spot, people will try to monetize it.
