The Importance of Inside Sales Techniques has helped Field Sales during Covid.

This is a topic that has come up a fair bit during conversations over the past few weeks as we have returned to the office.


How have Inside Sales Methodologies helped Field Sales BDMs or AEs since COVID?


Personally I found the daily / weekly planning during COVID and working from home became paramount for my routine.

The only thing that changed for me is the use of Teams for meetings. Otherwise everything has been the same for me ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

But there in lies the change. If AE or BDMS who were field based spending time travelling to meetings started using Teams or Zoom for meetings how much more time have they had in their hands? And what have they adjusted to become more productive?ย

We don't have more time. We have more internal calls and projects now. True some things can be more productive, but I can't wait to get back on the road.
