As the first day of the week dwindles down, it’s time to check in and see where we find ourselves after completing 20% of the week. 


Super quiet today. Got my expense report done from traveling last week, and taught a plebe how to schedule and prepare an internal call to get shit done.

It was ok - Monday so my motivation is not the highest it could be but I got done what I needed to do. Expect some deals to close in the next few days that will put me into some juicy accelerator territory. Then it's one more regular month until work becomes a waste of time until after Christmas is over.

I'm trying to work the term "bomb cyclone" into everyday speech.  Glad to hear your cleanup was not too bad.  We had to just pick up some branches from a birch tree that sheds them with a tiny puff of air, so you can imagine what wind gusts will bring.  Seems like you might have an epic winter up there with the resorts getting ready for an early opener.

In contracts with several customers for deals that will make my number.  One company wants to be executed by end of week (yay) but keeps adding unsupportable language to the MSA (boo).   The others are so far fine, but I'm paranoid.

After me and my SDR chased a client for six months to get them to take a meeting so I could explain the benefits of an early renewal...finally had my boss send me an email acting like she was pissed I hadn’t gotten ahold of them yet. Forwarded the email to client, got the meeting and closed the deal all within a week. Still nowhere near my number but hey it’s a moral victory.
