The netflix college admissions scandle, how much does this happen when it comes to those graduates getting their first job?

I mean, how often are captains of industries that pay hundreds of thousands, if not millions to get their kids into college, also paying to get their kids jobs & careers?

I often come across people & think to myself, how the fuck did you get past the interview?

In sales? Almost never.ย

in other industries like finance, law enforcement c etc, itโ€™s more rife than the college scandalย

I feel like sales is more, friends of friends helping each other out or helping friends kids get their first job. I'm sure in the next 5-10 years, there will be CRO's out there known as king makers- work for this CRO and you'll be a millionaire inย  x number of years, or some shit like that.

100% in other industries. If I'm a senior exec paying retainers to law firms, you best believe that law firm is picking my kid if they want to work there.

I would say it doesnโ€™t happen as much in our industry, but Iโ€™d say law firms, architecture, Etc. nepotism is rampant.ย

"I often come across people & think to myself, how the fuck did you get past the interview?" That's excellent.

This is a really good point. One of daddy's friends is gonna hire these kids anyway, so why do illegal shit?
