The pros and cons of not doing your own prospecting

At my org, AE's are full-cycle. The nice thing is we do have lead generators who fill up our Sales Loft with fresh companies and contacts and even load people into sequences, so all I have to do is login, call and email, book meetings for myself, and close them.

However, it is absolutely insane to me how often I get company after company with no decent cell or direct numbers at all. I hate to break it to you, but it's almost impossible to succeed purely by talking to gatekeepers all day.

So yeah, it's nice in theory, but if it's executed poorly, it's extremely annoying.
