There is no such thing as "cure-all advice" for every sales role.

Pumped to be a part of this community like the rest of you but would love to get this out of the way while the site is new (to me, at least)...

Can we all agree that there is never an "always right/wrong" answer for sales strategies and not to preach how your specific style is the only way to fly? I'm imagining that this is going to develop into an incredibly diverse group of sales professionals across hundreds of different industries targeting thousands of different markets selling to countless different personas; there will never be a cadence, outreach style, closing tactic, etc etc that works for everybody. "Close this way", "Don't ever include this saying in your outreach", "Be sure to always ask this specific question when you're doing discovery". We'll never know each other's buyer mindset and I feel like the most valuable thing that could be done in any "Advice" posts would be to gather as many pearls of wisdom as possible while putting it in the context of your own little universe.

Too many sales gurus/trainers/coaches/growth strategists out there pumping their own brand of oil--improve your process every day by learning from your peers, but don't ever expect that copying the next person's playbook is going to magically crush quota. Assume that at least one little nugget of what they're saying may not be a good fit for you or just may be completely wrong.

Drives me off a fucking wall when the sales manager reads a new book and decides that it's the new bible to disseminate to the masses. Eat it up in pieces, folks, but don't be afraid to dump it out the other end when it's not working!
