They like me! They really like me!

This is my Sally Field moment:


I joined a new company a few weeks ago and yes, I recognize I'm in the honeymoon phase, but I have to give a shoutout-that-will-never-be-seen to my new org:


My new teammates have expressed their excitement quite a few times and have even sent me a couple of end of the week 'so happy you're here' messages. They're open-minded to my fresh eye-deas and are all pitching in to help get my onboarded the best I can be.


My CEO called me out on my first team meeting to commend my practice pitch and is so supportive of my creative style.


It's as if they really like me!

Having that strong support & encouragement right off the bat is amazing! There's nothing worse than starting a new job & having to break into already formed office cliques. Getting feedback like that from multiple teammates makes it seem like they have good company culture.

That's basically what happened at my last couple of jobs and it was just such a pain. It really made for a difficult transition since I had moved for the company before also and it made for a very awkward environment.
This job is fully remote, so even if they DON'T like me.. at least I can't read it on their faces every day.
