Recruiters can be a great way to get a job if they reach out to you first, but I wouldn't lean on them in your personal search. They can definitely provide good advice and potential resources/connections though. I think it would be worth it to reach out to some on LI and see if any are working on roles you'd be into, or see if they know people who could help you - just don't rely on them.

Get your resume on as many job boards as possible, and update it often. By update, I literally mean choose to edit it in the site and then just save it - don't need to change anything. Recently updated resumes are always at the top of the list and are more appealing to recruiters.

Also, be hesitant to accept the first pay package a recruiter presents to you. 90% of the time they have leeway on the rate they offer.

Of course - hope you find some value in that!

And good to hear! As someone said in here before,ย  there are definitely more bad recruiters than there are good ones so I'm glad you've had positive experiences.

Love the username btw

I read your post in my head with a English accent, just needed to share that.

I would look on LinkedIn and when you find something poke around and email people at the company. I'd say the job hunt is no different than landing a prospect.ย

Recruiter but they don't work for you, self promotion is key as well and sadly linkedin is a place to start.ย

make a reseller website for the UK, request a demo of any products or companies that you are interested in, get on the demos, when you find a rep, that blows, ping the ceo or cro, and say I recently was on a demo with your team, and they blow, let me tell you why, then say you should fire that person and hire me.ย  yes this works

So, most people I know did not plan on becoming a sales person initially, it just happened. So, curious to know how my fellow warriors here ended up in sales anyway ? The more interesting stories the better..!!
