This quote hit hard for me...so here's your Monday Motivation

If you're a UFC/MMA fan, you probably saw Dustin Poirier defeat Michael Chandler this past weekend at UFC 281.

Dustin walked over to Michael post-fight and said:

"I was scared to fight you...Without fear, there is no bravery".

Got me thinking about life, parenting, sales, etc. Anything worth while in life is going to be difficult and likely somewhat intimidating.

Whatever adversity you're going through, embrace it. It's making you stronger whether you realize it or not. Keep going. That big deal could be the next phone call. That promotion may be around the corner. Stay curious. Stay diligent. Stay aware of your emotions and how you're feeling. It's all hard and we're all just figuring it out.

You've got this!

There is a string of children shows that push this a lot. Specifically the "you cannot be brave unless you are scared." It has hit well for my kids of different ages. Thanks for the inspiration buddy!

I tell my daughter this often. It is ok to be scared because it is only when we're scared that we can be brave.

Just like facing difficult things. If everything was easy then nothing would be fun and life would be boring. Overcoming obstacles is fun and makes you feel fulfilled.

We all make mistakes, but the key for me is to not make the same mistake twice.
