Thoughts about DMs on Bravado?

I've seen a handfull of conversations that I I've had, maybe others for other members?, that I think could be taken into a DM for a deeper chat rather than continue it on the thread. Also, I'd DM CuriousFox to stop trying to take #1 from me.


Would this make sense or be helpful for anyone else? I know we have calendy links/Cells but seems gated?

Yeah, I guess but I don't think you typically get more than 10-20 commish on a thread unless it blows up. Idk I'm thinking about the mentoring aspect but I do like bread

Adding a new idea to an old post here about DM's on Bravado. @CoorsKingย @funcouponsย @CuriousFoxย @braintankย @WCKย @paddyย @Beansย @HarryCarayย @Sunbunny31ย @Filthย @BravadoModย 

What do we think about the ability to "Unlock" DM's through the commission exchange? Like a paywall, a "Gate" if you will. Say 2000 Commish unlocks DM's?

That way, we ensure that only those who contribute and have put in time here have the ability to DM. 2000 is an arbitrary number, but I think it should be a steep price to push out the Bots and Newcomers who may abuse the power.ย 

Thoughts would be appreciated.ย

Or rather you have to have a certain number of historical points to unlock. I always cash out right away for those gift cards so I rarely hold a balance lol

I dig that, you see what Iโ€™m getting at though. There should be a barrier/gate for DMs. But we should DEFINITELY have DMs.

A huge platform with huge reach should have something for everyone.

A narrow platform with a specific niche should do what it does well instead of spreading out features too wide and diverting resources to do so.

I think we can have the most meaningful conversations in the open. I worry about people splitting off into smaller groups and taking some of the lifeblood out of the venue for discussion we have here.ย

I still haven't done a warm intro - so I'm curious how that works without DM's? Overall, I don't think this is a necessary feature for now though. As @HarryCarayย said, keep it out where everyone can see - and earn :)ย
