I have not used either platform, but I am sure someone here will have some insight for you.

War room is a great and super helpful platform. I feel the same. Thank you so much for dropping by.

Given your title, is this a product/user research question, or are you looking to implement this at your company?

We have Salesloft and AVOMA. It's a killer 1-2 punch, but they really don't impact each other. One is for outbound cadences and the other is for conversational intelligence for AE demos/CS onboarding calls.

It is a user research question. I am sorry if that feels deceiving. I will make sure to mention it explicitly next time.
But more than that, I am a huge appreciator of the sales tech space in general. I have worked with some industry leaders in research for the sales tech space as well. I love to get an idea of how things are in general. But this post is mainly a user research post.

Thank you so much for your review as well. Have you tried using conversational intelligence for outbound cold calls?

No, since we don't make any....but I bet we would if we were trying to shift back to outbound cold calling. We simply see in the data that we have a higher conversion rate and lower CAC when we leverage cold outreach via email.

I've used outreach on it's own and I must say I'm surprised. Anyone who's used to some velocity over the phone/internet can benefit from it. I've never used gong, though I went through a couple of demos with them. It does feel like this could give some managers the intel they need to help their teams more, especially if they are already using anything like outreach / salesloft or event xant.

Curious to see if anyone's got the experience!

I have used both. I love them both as individual tools but not so much for integrating with one another.  I think Gong is best for AE's/AM's and outreach is better for a BDR type role that does lots of outbound.  I will say Gong has helped me significantly in my career.

Using both right now, does have a pretty handy integration within it so during that transition from BDR to AE, can at least provide some insight into any calls made into the account and provide insight on it; personally I love using both, it’s been really helpful

Can you expand a little bit on the "pretty handy integration" part with some specifics?

Yeah for sure, within outreach you can customize the page layouts for prospect and account views to include gong recordings (which shows all past calls) from that specific prospect and account

Outreach has its fair share of glitches and their recent update is terrible. Find an alternative if you can. Gong is okay, we hardly use it tho even tho we have so many licenses

Haha! Only here with rhe intention of trying to understand the problem of sales rep and then build to solve for it. Only mentioned Outplay as you mentioned about finding an alternative. The video is on the website.
Cheers
