Thoughts on Personalized Emails and LinkedIn Messages

So as an SDR, my approach has always been a mix of quality and quantity while I was doing outbound prospecting in the APAC region. But since moving to the US, I have faced a lot of challenges with this approach.

I shifted to sending personalized emails using company-specific triggers but that didn't give me good results. Should I shift to sending personalized emails to everyone?

I'll appreciate any thoughts.

We personalize the 1st and 5th messages in our sequences, with the others being blanket educational content based on the industry/company perceived use cases. You still get to be personal, which prospects enjoy, but you also can be scalable in this model.

I like the idea of 'customizing' emails based on persona, title, location, etc.ย But writing a specific, tailored email to every single prospect? waste of time.

Personalisation is key. Takes longer but key. The way I see it is would you rather get a scripted automated email/LinkedIn message or something that someone has done some research on?ย

@poweredbycaffeineย suggestion is a strong model to go off. You need to be able to connect with them on a personal level whether that is hitting a particular pain point or personalizing it to be about them. Additionally, you need to be persistent with your messaging.ย
