Tips on Mass Emailing- New Product Launch

Hey savages- I am leading sales and marketing for a startup. We use Hubspot for our CRM, but pay the lowest tier. Therefore, cannot send mass emails.

We are launching a free version of our product next week and I have 2K contacts I want to share the news with. I don't need to send it all at once, but would like to get it done in a day (not sure if that opens any ideas)

Any tips on how to reach everyone? A colleague recommended Salesloft but I am not familiar with the tool.

You could do bulk emails from their marketing platform, and you have the choice of it looking like a plaintext email or all spiffied out. You should have access to that by default (free plan or not).

Only thing is it won't be coming directly from your mailbox unlike Salesloft that you have in mind

the issue is there is a limit with Starter Hubspot (work at a startup)

I think you can do a few hundred at a time via an Excel mail merge using Outlook, not sure if that would work or if there's a higher limit

Hi @AccountBoy911 - use gMass. I know we don't have DM on here but happy to show you how if you want to connect somehow. You can knockout 2,000 contacts all personalized and using gMail's pristine servers for optimal delivery rate. LMK if you want to chat, we can exchange deets somehow.

Marketing should have a persona in mind, right? So I say maybe creating some sort of messaging that aligns more to what they care about. Have 3 different emails, and use those to A/B test and go from there. Mass emails are tricky, if the product is great or the brand carries itself it's much easier.

it's a start up so only guerrilla tactics. In larger companies, agree with the approach.
