The relationship here has been cultivated over the course of ~2 years with conversations around understanding business needs, pains, outcomes, and processes. When the time was right to engage, I had already built a solid foundation with the key decision makers with budgetary authority, making the sale one fo the smoothest I've experienced at this level of expenditure. I really dialed in on making sure that I knew the deal inside and out and could practically quote MEDDIC in my sleep. I was also super pleased to be able to pull in some executive sponsorship and expertise from our internal teams to create a high level of understanding and confidence in what was being purchased on the customer's part.
