Top Books that translate to better sales skills?

My big go to would be How to Win Friends and Influence People by Carnegie.

Topics I would love to read more about: Soft Skills, Closing, Motivation, Routines, Discipline, etc. Any book that has insight into the tech sales industry specifically would be appreciated, but I realize that a bit more niche. Thanks for any input!

Not directly a sales book but as I moved to a player/coach type role I go back to Extreme Ownership from Leif Babin and Jocko Willink

Have you read his new books? "Leadership, Strategy, and Tactics" was great. Helped provide examples to build on Extreme Ownership.

I have been reading this since your recommendation and have to say, it is fantastic! The way he explains what he wants to teach through a story is captivating. Excited to get through the second half!

All solid Recs so far. I'd add "Predictably Irrational" it provides a good psychological framework for why people do certain things. If you think of the whole picture this type of thought process can really elevate your game.

Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky.  Annie Duke mentioned Kahneman.  You probably don't need the whole book, Cliff's Notes would be sufficient.

New Sales Simplified by Mike Weinberg - fantastic book that gives you tools to implement immediately.  Transparency Selling by Todd Caponi reshapes client meetings.  And for straight prospecting, Sell the Meeting by Scott Channell - prospecting stud.

I'd have to go with "A More Beautiful Question."  Though not necessarily about sales, it's a wonderful dive into the power of inquiry.

Surprised this wasn’t mentioned below, but 21 Secrets of Million Dollar Sellers by Stephen Harvill. Hands down the best sales book I’ve read and is written just like Carnegie’s books with case studies and real examples.

Has definitely helped me in my career hearing first hand from RAINMAKERS
