Top Salesforce Lightning Tips and Tricks

My CRM experience spans Streak, Salesforce Classic, Hubspot and since my company got acquired three weeks ago I'm being introduced to Salesforce Lightning.

Already I'm liking it more than Classic, it seems faster and cleaner from a design side. I'll be manually transferring live opps into it over the next two days.

Do any of you have general tips on using this CRM? Pitfalls? Or user courses worth taking?

One thing I would recommend is defining the CRM rules with your entire org.

Lighting is super intuitive and very straightforward but it doesn't do well when the defining fields and/or elements are used differently from individual to individual. Example, opportunity stages, contact stages, etc.

Make sure everyone in your org is on the same page. You will be able to use the CRM to a much greater extent. Searching and running reports will be easier. Dashboard creation will be simpler as well.
