Tried an interview question on a whim

I used some of your suggestions for the first interview for an opportunity, and I did very well

just had my second interview -- ended up getting called early and put on the spot, but I was comfortable having the chat right away

I did well, had a great conversation with my interviewer, and got moved to the next round

there's a particular question I asked that I think helped me nail this interview:

"If you have a little more time, I was wondering if you'd do me a favor. One of my marketing clients actually needs a solution like what you're offering. Could you sell your product to me?"

I learned a TON about the product, the role, etc from that question, and also was able to build rapport with my interview

just wanted to put it out there as a suggestion

in the interview, ask them to sell you -- it's a great way to level the playing field and learn stuff about the product that might not be available on their website
