Unattainable Quota

The saga continues.

No one on the team hit quota last month. 

So leadership hosts a meeting at the end of Q2 to tell us a new commission structure is beginning.

Good right? Fuck No. They raised the quota so now it's even farther out of reach.

I'm fresh in this role and don't have a lot of stake in the company, but this is worrisome.

Spoke with longer tenured reps who told me they don't give a fuck about us and that it's way to aggressive. 

Seeking advice. Jump ship or tough it out?

im willing to be they have way to many sales reps and layoffs are coming next.

@TennisandSalesis on it, another strategy for the "house" to win. Up quotas and thus do not have to pay out much commissions. More $$$ for the company on the deals that are closed. Definitely start looking.

I would say jump ship. I've seen something similar before. They're raising quota after you missed quota because they NEED to hit those numbers, not because it's achievable. It's obviously not going to plan for leadership and will likely get worse before it gets better.
