Vendor hooked up with Prospect...now what?

I'm a software vendor looking for some advice.

Was at an event (sports game) with multiple vendors/prospective customers.

I was trying hard to meet one customer in particular as she is the CISO and decision maker for a sales cycle for my solution. Was introduced to her by another vendor and we hit it off.

At some point, event ended, go to a bar with CISO and her team along with a few other vendors. In a group of 20 or so, I start talking with the CISO 1/1.

We are talking about everything OTHER than work and hitting it off. I wasn't just buzzed, but there was some serious sexual tension building.

At one point we go outside just the two of us to vape together. She puts her hand on my arm. It's getting real.

An hour or so later, everyone is getting ready to leave. We say our goodbyes and she whispers to me as we are hugging "we're gonna walk to our cars together". So she says goodbye to her team and we say that our cars are parked in the same direction.

Once we leave everyone else behind, we go to a different bar. It's dark. She's sitting way too close. She starts rubbing my leg with her hand. At one point she leans in to whisper something in my ear.

We go to the back patio and start making out.

We leave the bar, go to her place and hook up.

1 - what the hell do I do now?

2 - is this is sales qualified opp?

3 - seriously, what the hell do I do?

Don't think it matters, but we are both mid-30s and single

well, first off - DO NOT tell your HR - or anyone in your company.  If you don't want everyone to know, don't tell anyone.

Second - wasn't there an episode of The Office kinda like this?

Third - probably don't wait the 3 days (or whatever) to give her a call.  Call asap, meet up at a restaurant or some pace casual, and have a little talk about separating the business -vs- professional relationship, etc.  From there its up to you regarding where you want this to go.

lol...good luck bro!

In a world of smart assery comments, you come through in the clutch with some fine legal discourse. Love this comment, and the office reference.

Very much agree with the above. Prudent advice on a hilarious situation that could stay that way or it could take a bad turn and come back and bite this guy in the ass hahaha

Tell her no more fun time until they sign on. At this point she will become either outraged or turned on. You’re gonna wanna take this energy and convert it back to the OG sales conversation, throw her some efficiency numbers and how your service is so much better than competitors. All the while a not so subtle layer of innuendo will color the conversation. Finish your conversation by letting her know you’re not like other reps, you make sure your client gets their needs covered first. At this point she will find you either irresistible or despicable. If irresistible, get a commitment. If despicable, get her pregnant. Either way you’d get the deal.

So I went through something similar but it was with the EB.
Echo a few things:
1. Don’t tell HR
2. Follow up is key
3. Don’t ghost until after PO is in hand

In case both of you are simply looking for something casual, why not continue business as usual?

If you are both cool with it it could turn into selling to a friend, which would make the deal easier.

I think is in both of you guys' interest to keep it private and as long as you are both aligned in what you are looking for i don't think there would be an issue.

LMAO this is hilarious and incredible. I'd say it's qualified but you now have a weird ethical grey area in the deal. Better loop in Ops and Legal for approval to move forward.

You've built rapport, took them through your value proposition, scheduled follow-ups, everything feels great. Now it's decision time and.... GHOSTED... How do you recapture their attention and when is it time to hit them with a break-up email?
