"Virtual" Social Events?

Seems like wine tasting, chocolate tasting is already a thing of the past. Instead of bombarding my prospects with more and more webinars, what are some of the ways salespersons have found engaging virtually? I'd be interested to try new things,

I think Marketing teams around the globe are collectively banging their heads against a wall trying to figure this out.

I don’t think anyone has really solved for this yet but would be happy to be proven wrong and learn otherwise.

Virtual workout has actually worked for our group. It sucks getting dusted by a prospect but it happens.

We also planned kids stuff around spring break so that people could zoom in and have artists reading to their kids who were out of school etc.

I have absolutely wanted to do a virtual concert with some kinda cool band. - but do a LIVE Q&A WITH THE BAND AFTER. Why does no one do this?!?! It’s always “here’s a show, TYFUBYE” after.

Like the virtual conferences I feel they are useless for sales people.

agreed, but then what can one do about socializing in a virtual environment?

That is the million dollar question there...i guess there should be "procurement" focused conferences which will put buyers and sellers to link up. But that is difficult to achieve but better than those vague conferences that are theme based now a days.

We did a mixology event that got great feedback, but I agree, it already feels dated. Everyone is zoom-ed out.

yeah, that might have worked about 6 months to a year ago. now it's just zoom after zoom

I did just think of one other one that was interesting though - a partner of mine hosted a poker game that was a negotiation training. I wasn’t able to attend but it got rave reviews.
