War Room- Are you profitable?

I was wondering how War Room plans to continue to keep this site online. There are no Ads (thank god) on the site so there's no revenue coming from that. They are also giving out commissions like hotcakes. Some of you guys stay on here more than your real jobs. The only way I can think of is selling the information we gave about ourselves to other companies, which Google has been doing for years, so not too concerned.

How does everybody think they will keep this going?

We are making zero money. Dare I say NEGATIVE MONEY. As someone said, we are fundraising right now. Once we raise, we'll be putting out features at a much faster rate. If I've learned anything in this role its that building stuff takes WAY LONGER than I thought.

We are also not selling data nor will we ever sell data as long as I'm here. The "data" I hope to collect is around the health of sales. The sales industry. Ya know, the polls y'all like to post? By having the largest community of salespeople I hope we can provide interesting/useful data to our community. Not to sell it, but to become the sales industry leader.

The belief is that if we get big enough we'll find a way to monetize. Right now it's not a priority. If you want to help us stay alive I'd ask that you add more savages to the War Room. Use those super invites.

You could get non-sales related sponsors. Like maybe a particular clothing brand wants to make all the swag these sales leaders are saving for and buying. Office supplies. A restaurant chain. Ziprecruiter sponsors anything (maybe too sales-related). It's a good group or people to market to for anyone (people who are professional and likely have $$ :) )

BiggerPockets.com started off very similarly. Solely an unmonetized community for real estate investors but with loyal active members that loved the product, they were forced to grow and monetize.

You guys are crushing it.

I don't think it's profitable yet, it's still under development and last I heard they're doing a funding round soon.

I'm curious as to how they'll make it profitable - maybe a job board where companies have to pay to post ads?

Yeah from what little I have used War Room they have still dished out 75 bucks in amazon gift cards my way. They must have a lot of funding coming from somewhere.

They're still in funding rounds.

I think the way they can monetize is when the portfolio function launches. They can hook up B2B sales, or B2C with the right index in/out.

Hopefully we can drop a couple of bucks, as that is a neiche the market is missing.

The anon stuff is great, just hope there will be a seperation between my Warroom persona and my professional persona.
