Was having a debate with my wife about our jobs...

We both WFH 100% of the time and were having a debate around our home office setup.

She argued that she needs a bigger/nicer space for all of her books and other nerdy things. My argument was I have video client calls so I need the nicer space. Her response? "I actually have to use my brain at work, all you do is yap on the phone all day and drink scotch."

Long story short, she got the nicer space for her office.

So you both have your own office... but she wants the bigger one?

I have a saint of a wife, she has a home office desk setup in our dining room while I use our 3rd bedroom as my office. But I work at least 2 hours longer everyday than her and am on WAY more calls, so that's how I got the "private office".

agree! As long as you have a working space, I call that a win! I'm working out of my bedroom over here haha. But I do think its super helpful to have a nice background as we are on video calls all day. Sounds like you can make something work in the smaller office. As long as there is room for the scotch, am I right?
