Schedule a break between all meetings. Make sure there's a buffer built in to any calendar links you have.

I advise to have atleast 15 min break between 2 meetings and not to have 5- 30 mins meetings in a day

Interesting research. I followed what you meant, but I think your text and the pictures don't line up.

Group one shows no breaks via the picture and the opposite for the second group.

Your text is opposite. Just FYI

I try to avoid back to back for many reasons, and usually am successful. This illustrates what we already knew, yes? Everyone feels better when they have time to digest/recover/prepare.

AE demos are different than project manager meetings.

In demos, you go from high to high - pure adrenaline. In a PM meeting itโ€™s โ€œwhy are we here and why couldnโ€™t this be done over email?โ€

Not apples to apples.

It is not healthy and I do NOT recommend it, but since I smoke, it helps me to have breaks from time to time.

I always make sure to have breaks between meetings. I will do everything in my power to not be back to back. Other than stress, it makes life generally easier. No worry of running over, time to prepare for meetings, time to reply to emails, slacks, etc.

I hire AE's who don't have any brains, so it's not an issue.

Joking aside, schedule break time automatically. The top productivity tools used in business today (AKA Outlook or Google, including free add-ons) have the ability to automatically put in some buffer time between meetings, giving you time for a bio break or to reset. Use it.

Having a break also allows you to bring your best to the next call, because you can step into the shoes you need to for the next customer. Take that time to do a quick mental review of the important points, such as what are you looking to get out of the call, what is the structure, how should you tee off, etc.
