Hot take: if you want to get off the plane first, pay for the upgrade. Many a time i've taken the cheaper plane ticket and you get what you pay for

Same! 70% of people completely forget basic etiquette on planes - like this can't be your first time waiting in a line...

I like to stand up when we're in the middle of landing just to scare the people around me that I'm about to do something nefarious. Truth is, I'm just testing my balance to see if I'm able to drive home from the airport after several beers. If I can withstand the plane landing, I can drive. I've only been banned from 6 airlines from this.

I hate when people stand up as soon as the plane hits the damn tarmac but I also hate people who see all the others ahead of them disboarding and then act like it's a fucking surprise that it's now their turn to leave and take 300 years to collect their shit and move.

I also take issue with the people who stand RIGHT ON TOP of the checked bag carousel. If we all took 3 steps back and only stepped up when our bag came this would go a helluva lot quicker.

I CAN'T stand people in the back start standing up as soon as the seat belt light turns off. Might as well sit back and relax, it's going to be awhile lol

It's also fucking annoying when people take forever to get out of their seats and don't grab their bag overhead with no sense of urgency

I always want to smack these dimwits right in the back of the head.

Oh its my turn to get off? Ok I guess I'll start cleaning out yht seat pocket, putting my shoes on, waking my kids up and getting my luggage down. At the pace of a sloth crawling through molasses of course.

The general level of anxiety present at airports is absurd. Sprinting to get to the gate, jostling to be first when they call your group, passive-aggressively cutting people off, etc. Not everyone that stands up right when it lands is doing this, but a lot of them are. It used to piss me off, now I just find it entertaining to watch.

Airport lounges, priority boarding, and all that is to help you stay away from the anxious mass of people that don't travel enough to learn how to do it well.

I love and hate airports...

Love because they're so cool - a portal to a different place! I find it fun to people watch, drink at 10 am, buy little trinkets from the shops while I wait...

Hate because the security procedures are ridiculous and annoying, flights can get delayed, and other human beings are there.

Yes, with all this isolation during covid, airports are the only place I tend to end up surrounded by people. Without the regular exposure I used to get I find them much more annoying, but with the power of good headphones I can ignore them and get going.

I stand when the plane hits the gate and that seatbelt light goes off.

I'll grab my carry on if it's above me and I always help others with theirs.  I will never try to cut the line to get off the plane in front of people ahead of me but I'll also never let anyone in a row behind me cut the line.  I'll wait my turn and the people behind me will wait as well.

It's amusing to listen to the people behind me get all bent out of shape because I won't move.

I definitely think the aisle seat gives you this right. You’ve gotta be the gate keeper of people behind you trying to cut.

Veterans sit on the aisle.  Rookies sit by the window.

Do you still wear a full suit to your 1st meeting with a prospect, or is that completely dust now and feel like a used car salesman?
