For those of us lucky enough to be attending Web Summit 2021, you'll know that the time is nigh. Yes, this is an in person event, not some lame virtual speed dating party.
We've all unfortunately had to attend our fair share of below average virtual conferences (I've been on tinder dates that have been less awkward, and that's saying something). Marketing has sold us down the river that 'virtual conferences' would be 'cool'. Bullshit. It's time act like a pack of piranhas during feeding time and to follow our prospects around while we wait for the opportune time to pitch them during lunch breaks with a mouthful of food.
So...roll call for those degenerates who have been allowed to leave your home office (read: bedroom).
If people are open to it, I'm thinking we organise a little meet-up so we can bond over how we spent 4 weeks trying to secure meetings from the attendees list, aimlessly sent unsolicited requests to meet prospects on the app to no avail or perhaps you struck gold and got some sweet cabbage out of it.
Thoughts?
