It's the first Leaderboard appearance for @Jackywaky since 7 weeks ago when she finished in second place to... well I think you can guess who it was. But @Jackywaky isn't worried about that because as a wise, absent, racecar-driving father once said: If ya ain't first, second ain't so bad baby.

In third place this week we have the indomitable @CuriousFox . I think this leader board posting demonstrates that this forum is basically a silo. 3-4 people comment on everything. Basically an echo chamber. I guess it’s a great opportunity for them to get some free stuff.

Or could it be that the leaderboard recognizes users that offer valuable content that other people appreciate, hence the upvotes? Taking myself out of the equation, for the last year users such as @CuriousFox @CoorsKing @braintank and @poweredbycaffeine to name a few have spent a ton of time providing real world advice and thoughtful guides free of charge to the userbase here. Plenty of people have given them public kudos in helping them navigate a compensation conversation, win a new job, or close a big ticket client. Obviously there's value there and damn right they should be compensated via some free stuff. ;)

Feel free to post some thoughtful material of your own and perhaps you'll be recognized. You sound like the newbie SDR crying that the tenured ENT rep makes more money than you.

Echo chamber would imply I talk to myself and others who thought the exact same way I do now, wouldn’t it? There are plenty of good posts and threads weekly, just less engagement than before due to the rapid influx of bots, trolls, and spammers which causes the users that actually provide valuable insight to not give a shit anymore
