Weekly Sales Meetings

Happy Friday team!
Would love some advice from everyone around how they structure their Monday Morning Sales Meetings!

For context, we run a weekly sales meeting on a Monday morning with AEs and a manager and run through any key deals we're progressing or accounts we're prospecting over the week.
It's pretty monotomous and honestly an average way to start a week...
Any suggestions on how to spice it up, or other ways to structure it?

Do you enjoy your weekly sales meeting?

Monday meetings are never easy! I definitely feel you @sales101
What my sales team try to do is to make it relevant and add in something new. One example would be for 2 or 3 people to share something new they learned about the product, sales process, prospecting, finding new accounts etc. in the past week to share to the team.
Another example would be to bring in a new 'GUEST' from another department I.e. the SDR team or marketing and for them to share the going-ons in the coming weeks or months.

Not a bad idea bringing a “guest” in- might give that a test run in a couple of weeks, thank you!

You get out of it what you put into it.  Meetings are necessary to show that you are getting your shit done; the proof behind the forecast.

Makes sense- is there anything in particular your team does to show that though? Or just to talk through closing deals?

Keep it fresh.  New opps, closing, objection handling, ROI discussions, anything pertinent to the job.  Sort of like here.

I enjoy them when I have lots to peacock about, but if it's been a slow week then I'm not too keen

I enjoy them if they're useful. If it's just 30 minutes of us getting sidetracked, then I'm out.

Yeah 100%, I think that’s our main issue- we get sidetracked talking about some intricate detail of someones account that isn’t relevant and suddenly you’ve wasted half of your morning

If you want to get the best productivity in your meetings, the time also plays a relevant role. For this reason, we advise you to avoid establishing it at the first and last hour of the day. Why? First thing in the morning, the most important thing is to organize all the tasks to prioritize and know what is going to be done during the day. For its part, the last moment of the day should be focused on closing all projects. Setting the meetings in the middle of the morning and after eating are the best time. In addition, we recommend that you calculate the meeting time in advance - set a maximum - so that it is optimal and does not take longer than necessary.

Interesting point! Will definitely recommend we have a go at moving it to just after lunch, thanks!
