WFH - Best / Most Presentable Outfits

Like so many of you, I've been WFH for a year and a bit now.

In general I love it, but one thing I've not nailed down is dressing appropriately for the 1200 Zoom calls I do everyday. Looking for inspo or recommendations on clothing choices that are both professional, comfortable, cool and age appropes (I'm pushing 30).

In general, I tend to rock a plain t-shirt with a smart jumper (sweater) if it's cooler and then some nice Uni Qlo shorts or my sweats.

I refuse to wear jeans in the house.

Gracias.

I don't trust people that lounge in jeans at home. Like, what are you trying to prove?

I look cute for everyone. For client calls I dress as I would if I were sitting in their office.

People that can relax in jeans are not from this world.

I don't want to look or feel like a slob - dresses feel like pajamas but make you look like a cute bitch so that's where things are at with me. I rarely wear pants.

I got a few $14 plain sweatshirts off Amazon so I can wear those w/ no logo on calls, and sweats. If a c-level is joining I’ll wear a button down/polo, but otherwise I’m in a hoodie.

I sell to IT guys, I’ve had one person I think in the last 12 months not wear a tshirt or hoodie

This was the exact reason I posted this today. Prospect turned up in a shirt whilst WFH!

Second the no jeans. I personally have a few "work sweat pants" that are a bit nicer and help me not feel like I'm just working in my PJs. If you're looking for something nicer try checking out "Travel Pants" sections on sites. Tend to be cut like chinos but have a lot of stretch and breathability.

Outside of that I tend to go button up for the top half most of the time, calls I'm on range from people in scrubs to people in a suit and tie so the button up helps me stay right down the middle.

My favorite site to look for them is Huckberry, but you can find them everywhere. Some popular brands are Lulu Lemon and Proof. You can get true travel ones or get some that you can do whatever in and still be at home in a boardroom wearing them.

FYI they are all pricy, but if you plan on using them all the time they are worth it!

I wear a rainbow hat with a pinwheel on top of it and carry around a lollipop. All of this mayhem is going on while my balls stick out of my zipper from my jorts.

I dress appropriately above the belt 😅 just wear a collared shirt when warm and a collared shirt with a pull over when cold :)

Stop reading these poorly written comments and buy this right now bros:

For Pants:

Outdoor Voices High Stride, get a size up bc I like a little room. Lululemon is for BETA MALES.

For shirts:

Male fashion hasn't changed since the Great Depression and always stick to classic Ralph Lauren Oxford.

Was surprised as to how much of a benefit even such minor social interactions can grant you.
