WFH pet peeves?

Mine is simple: It annoys me when people that suddenly find themselves in a wfh environment (so literally, everyone) stops caring about how they look. I mean, come on, when did not wearing an ironed shirt became a thing in sales? I'm talking about people that suddenly look like they just woke up and dragged their asses to wherever their computer is (if you're lucky enough to get someone that has a home office, otherwise is couches and beds) and didn't ever care to check if they had food crumbs in their clothes.

Pisses me off. More so when they are trying to sell stuff!

Blow it up
On the flip side, I hate when I'm the only one who showered, combed and got dressed for a video call when everyone else has their cameras off.

I was perfectly happy in my jammies and now I have to hide my 10am beer, thanks team!

I've actually never agreed with anything more in this thread (even more than my own comment).

It's entirely too hot for that nonsense. Roommate would lose that fight fast. 🔥

I have the opposite. I turn the heating off  as it's boiling but my housemate wants it on but he also wants his window open and fan on as it 'Airs the room'.

Ah, that whole deal. It's true. I actually sleep on the window side of the bed because it's colder, and my wife prefers the other side that faces our closet. We don't fight over AC anymore. I just sweat my ass off.

It's an unpopular take but I agree. Wearing a hat is one thing. Showing up in a weird ill-fitting t-shirt that looks like it could very well be a night shirt with your hair all fucked up is just lazy. If someone showed up to the office that way, it would be weird, despite if they're crushing it.

Yeah, and it's just a pet peeve of mine but it pisses me off. I mean, you don't need to wear a tux for every zoom/teams meeting you're on, but it would be great if you could at least comb your hair!

Mine is when you have internal company calls and THAT person doesn't understand that their music or housemates, or TV etc etc can be picked up by zoom.THEN they interrupt everyone as they can't hear properly. Zoom etiquette is all that's needed.

Agreed. Not sure why that's so hard to understand to some!

I’d pick the door, take my severance, and get another sales job.

I've been working with procurement people (meaning on their side as a consultant) recently and I'm actually surprised at their tactics. Man, these guys think like sales people 100%,
