WFH Stipend advice

Started a new role last week. I have the setup I need from work from home but my AirPods are losing charge quickly and really don't fit my ears that well.

Any advice for an over the ear headset? trying to make my company pay for something ridiculous

Generally, headphones come under the IT catergory, ask you company if they give you the headset, if not ask if they reimburse for airpods. Make sure to ask your IT before getting surprises.

They will reimburse for a premium headset. Basically told us to buy whatever we need. The AirPods are an old set from a year and a half ago and am looking to upgrade with an over the ear headset.

Yep same! Luckily zoom and teams doesn’t have you hang up when adjusting. That happens to me all the time when talking on my cell

I’m partial to Bose with noise cancelling. Awesome for travel too

The Bose ones work great, I have the Bose sport for when I am on the road and hold their charge well and very minimal feedback

We have opposite issues with AirPods that lead us to the same solution haha

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Hear me out - get something middle tier but get two of them "in case something happens to the first."

I use the Jabra Evolve 65 currently for sales activity.
Not super baller by any means, but does a great job. Lasts all day, pretty comfortable, and cancels out surrounding noise well when I'm on calls.
The Evolve2 is over ear, and more baller. Anything from Jabra for actual sales activity has been my goto.

For noise cancelling headphones for music, I have Plantronics Pro.

I have a pair of Jabra ones that are really great, but they look like absolute gaming headphones when I’m on calls, so I don’t wear them a ton. Great sound and mic though.
