Tried Jiu-Jitsu recently with the girlfriend. Hell of an experience but felt really good taking an exercise class/ letting out some stress with my partner

I always wanted to learn martial arts. Isn't juijitsu more like using opponents movements against them?

More or less. The great JuiJitsu artists know how to do that, but when you are just starting out they just teach you the basics

I started using headspace a couple months ago and it's a gamechanger in the morning or whenever you're stressed out. Give Headspace or Calm a look!

Daily habits. Read at least a chapter a day. Exercise 60-90 mins. And listen to a success audio/podcast.

Long walks, enjoying nature (either as an activity or just sitting outside,) staying off social media, staying away from negative news/media, eating low carb and low sugar, drinking plenty of water, keeping alcohol as a once in a while beverage, getting enough sleep, having a healthy distance from my cell phone whenever I can.

WFH I started to exercise - take 30-40 minutes during lunch to do a quick online workout. It really helped my mental health and physical health. I also find it helps me re-focus mid day

I started with Heather Roberston's free 12 week workout and then I went into her other programs. All free online and don't require too much equipment.

The same exact morning routine everyday. Wake up, start my coffee, listen to "Make Your Bed" speech on my morning walk with my dogs, every single day. And a LONG LONG run with my dogs everyday after work to the dog park. I use the time they're playing to focus on my game plan for the next day.

Two monsters lol I have an Australian Kelpie, very high energy and a black lab, who also needs a lot of walking. Some days I just feel blah and they force me to get out of bed with sheer excitement of "do you want to go OUTSIDE" lol

Do you have any dogs?
Ace

I don't have any yet. But I soon plan to get a Golden and a Malamute

Letting it loose. But not like 6000-7000 calories. We are talking around 3500-4000 max.

I started a checklist recently. Every day I try to throw some notes in a gratitude journal, exercise, and then do 'something for me' - read a book, play fetch with my dog, binge a couple episodes on TV. Sometimes the 'something for me' is educational and sometimes it's just a mental break. I've found holding myself accountable to these 3 things each day is so satisfying.
