What are the best tools you’ve used for new business Development?

My current company has me on the hunt for new tools and software to help build brand awareness and business development. I've worked with ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, Otter.ai, LinkedIn Sales Nav, Google ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok and some others. However, BD is newer to me, so I'm looking for suggestions for some tools I can try out and see what works best for our SaaS model. Thank you for your input.

You've got the top hunting tools down for sure. What about automation/sequence tools to maximize efforts with the data you scrape?

That’s a great question. I’ve been doing research but I’m not super familiar sequence and automation tools. If you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them.

Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot all have sequencing tools. Just makes it easy to automate multiple outreach on emails, and most of these tools schedule tasks to call the prospect.

We are inundated with tools these days. Tools that don't even do everything they claim to do.

I probably should have added that. We are employee time tracking with a focus on small to
Mid-sized businesses.

ZoomInfo is $$$$ and probs wont have SMB data you want, just a hunch. You're best bet on SMBs / mom and pops is using something hyper local, think phonebook/yelp/calling directly to the office/store. Mid size you may have more luck. -- I personally have not use appollo but seems like they're making waves. As with most data providers, tell them all you're evaluating their competitors and race to the bottom on term length and price, lock in a good rate. would avoid long commitments because your first 3-6 months will be a learning curve on if the data is good or not, if it is, dive in...if it's not, start shopping.

These types of products get a lot of inbound as well. Do you have a separate inbound team.
There are a lot of community on Linkedin you can be a part of where you can start contributing before selling.

I am the inbound and outbound team. Just me. The inbounds are all set. It’s the BD side I’m still learning and developing.
