I like to send an email 45-60 mins before the call with the agenda and a reminder for the link.

Something like:

"Hi Buyerfirst,

Looking forward to our convo at 11am this morning. Here's a quick agenda on what we will be covering:

1. Quick debrief on how you're currently providing training to your sales team.

2. Walkthrough of how the War Room is being used by other sales teams to help with call coaching, answering strategic questions, collaborating on deals.

3. Pricing, free pilot, etc.

Talk in 45!

Agreed. Including a meeting agenda either as a follow up or within the meeting description helps.

Confirming the meeting with your contact 1 - 2 days beforehand goes a long way.

We send calendar invites with a "looking forward to chatting" message. I have a pretty decent no show rate and don't do anything super special. I just make sure to qualify leads well, and don't push and push if they seem flaky or uninterested. Gotta protect your time.

In addition to the already excellent advice here:

Be relevant and deliver value. If you are addressing a real pain or problem the person you are meeting with is experiencing, they will show up.

I like to send a quick video text the morning of. Adds a personal and unique touch, some more "human" and unsalable. Makes me stand out from the noise. "Hey it's RandomPaperclip here! Super excited for our call later today at 2pm est. If you could also be prepared to discuss xyz with me, I promise to provide you with crystal clear objectives on how we can diagnosis those issues"

Seems to work rather well. Except with foreign numbers... then I resort to email.

Email or Text the night before making sure that they are good to go. If they are, great. If they aren't, the you can reschedule without wasting your time sitting on an empty call

Send the calendar invite ON THE CALL and make the accept it right then and there. Send an email the night before to confirm and ask for a reply to get the meeting confirmed

You can try sending a coffee egift card as a goodwill incentive to 'show up' for the meeting.

Friendly follow-up call inviting to the next appointment - rather than "confirming" something invitational.
