When I was an SDR I set a meeting with a prospect. Day of the meeting comes and my AE was too drunk to do it. He was celebrating the fact he closed a massive deal earlier that day. I had to call the prospect back and try to reschedule. She didn't answer and I never could get them back on the books.

Once had scheduled a call with an AE and he complained because I put it too late in his day(4PM his time on a Friday) when the prospect basically confirmed that he needed the product and was ready to buy that day. The kicker here is, theย AE no shows, so I get a call from the prospect(6pm my time) who is bewildered, luckily I talk him off the ledge and agrees to reschedule.ย

Next week ask the AE what his deal is, he had the spot open on his calendar why didnโ€™t he take it and he says โ€œit was a friday at 4pm and also I dont take calls after 3pmโ€(Despite his calendar being open after 3 every day)

Deal ends up close winning the day I rescheduled and we almost lost it because this guy couldnt take a call during work hours.
