When I was an SDR I set a meeting with a prospect. Day of the meeting comes and my AE was too drunk to do it. He was celebrating the fact he closed a massive deal earlier that day. I had to call the prospect back and try to reschedule. She didn't answer and I never could get them back on the books.

Once had scheduled a call with an AE and he complained because I put it too late in his day(4PM his time on a Friday) when the prospect basically confirmed that he needed the product and was ready to buy that day. The kicker here is, theย AE no shows, so I get a call from the prospect(6pm my time) who is bewildered, luckily I talk him off the ledge and agrees to reschedule.ย
Next week ask the AE what his deal is, he had the spot open on his calendar why didnโt he take it and he says โit was a friday at 4pm and also I dont take calls after 3pmโ(Despite his calendar being open after 3 every day)
Deal ends up close winning the day I rescheduled and we almost lost it because this guy couldnt take a call during work hours.
