Small liberal arts school, no big sports, so relating to jock-sales culture has been a journey for me lol

...but can I get some love for my tiny NAIA school?? 😂

I may know them, I played ball at a liberal arts school before realizing 50k a year was aggressive and they messed up my scholarship so I was out after a year for a pretty rad community college.

Funny you ask cause I played sports and am privy to the specifics during my time there...

1st year - NAIA
2nd-3rd year - USCAA - was a transition league as the school was ramping up to D2 requirements
4th year - D2

LOL, skyline.com, check it out. It sounds strange to some but chili over spaghetti noodles piled with a mountain of cheese and a little hot sauce for the 3-way. Chilito, chili and cheese in a burrito shell with sour cream. It is my go to meal when I am back in Cincy.

Yes, it is a must have and isn't expensive. People from out of town/state think its weird usually but you have to try it if you haven't at least once. They also have 1 in Ft. Lauderdale randomly.

You sound like the guy who is asking for your student loans to be forgiven because the big college took advantage of the 18 year old who didn't understand that when you borrow money from you have to pay them back with a connivence fee unlike your parents credit card :) ha

Haha you really managed to pull a lot out of your ass there and managed to come up with a lot from the 10 words I posted previously.

I'm still not going to share where I went to school, but will respond to the assumptions you came up with. I feel like you tend to create motives for others that always end up reinforcing your idea that the world is against you (see what I did there, pulled shit out of my ass!)

1. I graduated with two degrees and about $15k in debt total. Between a large scholarship from the school, some smaller scholarships I applied for, and working throughout my time there I was thankfully able to leave with a manageable amount of debt.

2. Parents are solidly middle class, no daddy's credit card for me. Outside of some things like my first car, any money I've spent has been earned by me. Before you go assuming again, first car was bought off a used car lot, none of that certified pre-owned stuff, was 6 years old at the time with 80k miles, two accidents on the record, and no working AC in Florida.

3. No issues with debt, happy to pay it back, and I paid my loans back in about 3 years, mostly just to free up the monthly income that was going out the door to cover that even though the money would have "done more" in the market during that time.
