What do you ask after they tell you no?

A mid-funnel prospect (did demo, have pricing proposal) tells you “we went with someone else”, do you typically ask for feedback from them as to why they chose another solution? If so, what’s your approach and how do you ask?

Always! Approach with genuine interest in learning and improving, whether it's improving your process (i.e. your demo wasn't good), your offering (i.e. too expensive) or your product (competition does X which was critical required capability).

I thank them for their time then ask what they were looking for that would have checked off that value box.
