What do you care most about your company?

We all want to have a dream job - great company culture/values, a passion for the product/service, and make tons of money.


But company culture, a passion for a product or service are all great, but people work to support themselves (and/or their families), so compensation is important.

It’s a mix of all 3 for me but i think working for a company that genuinely believes in the product is important for me.

It’s really gotta be a mix of all three for the perfect storm, but the one thing that is a deal breaker is culture issues. Legit can’t/won’t deal with bullshit culture to cash a paycheck. Too many orgs rely on golden handcuffs and from experience it’s just not worth it

A company value could be ‘customer centric’ or ‘fair treatment of all employees’

I took a paycut to be at my current company. Haven't looked back. My old company was very stuck in it's ways and refused to allow any type of innovation beyond making more calls and sending more emails. 

Whereas in my new company i'm allowed to experiment with new methods of outreach, which is really interesting and impactful for me as I now am leading an experiment on an idea that I have for outreach which the wider team is going to support me :)
