What do you do when someone hangs up on you?

Most the time I call back and say "Hey I didn't want you to think that I was rude and hung up on you"..or say "Oh hey I am sorry my phone has a case of the Monday's and decided to hang up on you"...but.. and go into pitch .I think it also depends most the time on their attitude... If they say not interested or not in the market and hanging up..most the time I will put a follow up for 30-60 days...So I am curious do you call them back, or do you just move on?

Would love some witty comebacks!

I have set some appointments doing this btw!

“Hey sorry I think we got disconnected - I was calling because <pitch>”

If they don’t pick up I leave that as a voicemail.

I'll also send an email saying pretty much the same thing because not everyone listens to their voicemails!

I have learned the hard way not to let my emotions dictate my responses to rude people. I generally call them back in a week or two, most of the time they've forgotten all about you by then. I've had really bad conversations turn into solid prospects down the road.

100%, you want to call them back with some snarky remark or send them a passive email... it never ends well when you go that route. Take a walk, play a Corp Bro video, do whatever you have to do to clear your head and get back on the grind.
