All of these plus:

- Compensation structure. Is it competitive? Does it align with my financial goals?

- Company culture. This includes the physical office, perks offered, how success is celebrated, what my colleagues would be like, is it a sales focused organization or is sales just another department? That kind of thing.

It starts with the boss, your direct line manager. Research them, listen to podcasts they've been on. Reach out to their team via linkedin and arrange times to speak. Read articles they post.ย

Then the industry, is it growth or no. How old is the oldest player & how are they performing in terms of growth? How old is this company, how much market share do they have? How many companies are in your space? Are they industry leaders

Forget 5 year plan. What are they planning for 12 months time, how are they performing against that, how do they measure performance.ย

Then the product, is it better than the competiton, whats the roadmap, how often is it published, is it published externally to clients or internally. Big difference on deliverables.ย
