Work life balance. It’s not like you ever have one in sales but at least you get 2 forced breaks a day traveling to and from work.

First in the office baby! Such a weird satisfaction to make coffee and watch all who arrive after feed their late faces.

Could walk over to other team's pods - legal, engineering, etc - if I needed to push something through EOQ.

That and we had beer, cold brew, wine, and kombucha (for marketing) on tap.

We didn't have to - Catered lunch daily, several rooms filled with various snacks and about 15 different types of water, beer and cold brew coffee on tap, breakfast tacos on Wed, bagels on Friday, and a bunch of other junk. We called it the 'start-up 15' - BUT I would love to hear the story

I actually like the people I work with. So honestly just the banter throughout the day. Makes it go by so much faster. And being able to celebrate wins, and drink away losses after good/bad days

I went back to the office full time as soon as they allowed us to. I know myself well enough to know I don’t have the self discipline to be productive working from home. I need the structure. Pretty empty in the office but there’s a handful of us all kind of with the same mindset.

It also helps me keep work and home life separate. I want there to be a clear distinction between the 2. When I shut it down at the end of the day to head home, that’s that. Might send an email or 2 if I have to in the evening but I’m not sitting in my home office from 8 to 8 like a lot of folks, wondering what day it is.

To each his own. Some people love WFH, others don’t. Last point I’ll make is that many are really taking advantage of a lot less accountability and it shows in their work. They probably ought to consider changing things up if they’re going to continue working remote.

All great points! I think sales is a different beast than the rest of the departments when it comes to organic learning and energy. I hate to use buzzwords but they fit well here.

Having a great day and celebrating with a nice glass of bourbon. Or having a really bad day and forgetting it with a nice glass of bourbon. LOL
