I wish them well and tell them I'm here if anything changes in the future. Sucks when they have other priorities, but better to not burn the bridge should they ever need your services/product in the future.

I just straight up ask what changed. This oftentimes isn't the actual objection but just a cover story. You might need to do some digging.
