What do you say when a ripe project dies because "we have other priorities"

Things are perfect until they are not. Curious to hear how some people react to this objection way later in the process and how do you get the train back on track?

you can't really create motivation only align it with customer's problems.ย

Yeah I agree with this so you can understand the entire picture. Once you hear it you may find an opening to tie in your product. Worth a shot ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I wish them well and tell them I'm here if anything changes in the future. Sucks when they have other priorities, but better to not burn the bridge should they ever need your services/product in the future.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
I just straight up ask what changed. This oftentimes isn't the actual objection but just a cover story. You might need to do some digging.

How do you all handle a situation where a prospect has a contract approved and is ready for signature, but one of their family members just passed away? Want to be extremely sensitive to the situation...feel there's never a "right" time to reach out and never want to be salesy...
