I'd like to see a weekly stand up or townhall meetings where certain topics are discussed. Could be anything ranging from cashflow issues to challenges brainstorming

I once worked at a place where our manager would hit the phones with the SDRs Monday mornings. Seems kind of silly but getting out on the front lines got the team to hit the ground running with him.

More meetings isn't the answer. If you want to motivate your team offer them some kind of Monday spiff.

Or a free pass to the next meeting. I swear we have entirely too many. And they're all repetitive.ย

nothing, just let people do their work. SPIFF is a good way to motivate or send people a coffee or something

Best way to motivate an SDR team is to tell them that the number of Spiffs you obtain over the course of the quarter will be taken into considerations for promotions. I know when I was an SDR, if you told me I could do XYZ to get promoted faster, I would do it in a heartbeat. At the end of the day, no one wants to be an SDR, so anything you can offer to get out of that, I imagine they would be into it.ย

Or, offer WFH days as the spiff. If they hit their goal or the spiff, they can work the remainder of the week from home. Then they can decide if they want to use that time at home as a "day off", or if they will continue to work (or come into the office), they have proven themselves as a good candidate for promotion.ย

This is a right take and if used will provide great results from SDR team too. Perfect Strategy. Thanks

Always reward people with things they want. You'll probably have to have the icebreaking and brainstorming sessions on your time.ย

Marketing that goes out over the weekend creating leads for Monday morning.ย

if anyone makes me do an icebreaker on a Monday with a cross functional team then Iโ€™m gonna be โ€œsickโ€ most Mondayโ€™s or start scheduling all my client meetings for mondays.ย

Cannot reiterate how little I would want to do an icebreaker. The company is already wasting enough of my time with pointless internal meanings. I care about my quota, not Jessica's weekend.

Just got promoted to team lead and my manager is asking me to motivate the team to hit their KPI's. Any tips on this since no one likes the KPI chat, including me.
